I just got a used tranny with 90K km on it to replace my old one and had Canadian tire put it in for me the problem is it bangs when put from park to reverse but if I shift from park to drive and then to reverse it dose not bang and jerk. And also I have no low gears I shift from drive to 3 or 2 it acts like its still in drive it does not down shift at all, but run smoother then anything in drive also shifting from (n) to (d) it stays in (n) I have to almost go 3 for it to
engage.

That's not ur transmission vin it will have letters and numbers like ur car has. If the fluid is milky sounds like it has possibley water in the fluid if it's sliver grey means it has metal in it. Ur problem is much worse then a solindo iam factory trained on these cars. There's no warranty on this transmission?Let me know.

Usually when you have a bad valve body you get a delayed reverse or hard shifting into gears or set a p0733 or p0734 codes. What you are describing here doesnt sound like a valve body issue. Were u able to get those transmission codes u should have plenty of them. I dont see why you dont take it back to where u bought the transmission and have them warranty it. Before you go changing the fluid valve body all that then they will say its your fault why the transmission is messed up. What was wrong with your old transmission?

Its not the module the only thing that controls the trans shifting is the trans computer which is combined with your engine computer if your old trans shifted ok with the computer before the blow up then why would it be the computer. As far as working it's self out that's not going to happen with the murky fluid and the way it doesn't shift it has a big problem. Don't u have a better business bureau up there that u can file a compliant against them it sound like they ripped u off. If there is a warranty I would ask for a different trans or it repaired to operate as designed. Let me know.
