Sorry but not much info on heater core removal other than the below.

HEATER CORE

Removal

Drain cooling system. Disconnect heater hoses. Remove lower trim panels from below A/C-heater control panel. Remove lower heater duct. Remove heater control cable. Remove heater core side cover screws and side cover. Remove lower heater core cover screws and pipe clamp. Remove lower cover.

Remove heater core bracket and heater core.
Installation
To install, reverse removal procedure. Fill cooling system. Ensure control cables are properly adjusted.

ON CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES, SOME FRONT SEAT BACK RECLINER GEAR TEETH MAY WEAR EXCESSIVELY THROUGH REPEATED USE, WHICH COULD CAUSE THE SEAT BACK TO SLIP PARTIALLY REARWARD WHEN FORCE IS APPLIED.
CONSEQUENCE OF DEFECT
IF THIS HAPPENS WHILE THE VEHICLE IS BEING DRIVEN, IT COULD CAUSE A LOSS OF CONTROL, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE VEHICLE'S FRONT SEAT RECLINER MECHANISMS. THIS IS AN EXPANSION OF A PREVIOUS RECALL (99V045). OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN JANUARY 31, 2003. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT SATURN AT 1-800-553-6000, PROMPT 3.

DESCRIPTION OF DEFECT
Some front seat back recliner gear teeth may wear excessively through repeated use, and could cause the seat back to slip partially rearward when force is applied.
CONSEQUENCE OF DEFECT
If this happens while the vehicle is being driven, it could cause a loss of control, increasing the risk of a crash.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Dealers will replace the vehicle's front seat recliner mechanisms.
