2002 Saturn SC1 SES Light and stalling
Engine Mechanical problem
2002 Saturn SC1 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 89900 miles
As soon as I release the gas to apply the break the car feels like it is rumbling and the service engine soon light comes on, the car stalls but will start right back up. Also sometimes when at a redlight it feels like it wants to stall. Any idea what might be causing this. It was just in the shop for inspection.

if u could go to a auto parts store and me the codes it has that would really help.i would say it sounds like a vaccuum leak on that yr it is common for the intake manifold gaskets to leak around the number one or two cyclinders where it meets the head.also the little s shaped hose colaspes and or gets holes in them the one that goes from the valve cover to the intake manifold.let me know what happens and bring me back those codes.
