I just bought a used 2000 saturn sc1 from a private party. The check engine light is on and auto zone hooked it up to diagnostics tool. It said vac hose leak. There is an aftermarket cold air intake with only one small hose connected to it leading to the intake manifold. There is another hole in the intake duct, but there is no hose coming from it. Could this be the problem? If not, what can I do to get this light off to get it inspected?

What code was it like a p0301 or p0302 the main place those engine leak vaccuum is the intake gasket at the number 1 or 2 cyclinders by the powersteering pump u can usually see the gasket all wrinkled up.U can spray some carb spray around that area with the engine idling if the gasket leaks the engine will stumble. Let me know what u find.
