1994 Other Saturn Models Check Engine Light is ON

My check Engine just came on earlier today and so far, the car is still running fine and is not leaking any fluids. It's an older car and I dont want to drop too much money into it. I am looking for some ideas as to what may have caused this? Any help is appreciated.

Cross these two terminals as shown, then turn the key on. Count the flashes, a 22 will flash as 2 flashes then a short pause, then 2 flashes, if more than one code is stored, the pause will be longer. The codes will display three times and end with 12.
