I am looking for what type of oil to use in teh manual transmission other than the saturn part number. Like redline manual trans oil or ATF 5 or 6 if they will work or what weight of synthetic to use in the transmission. Thanks

Please don't use gear oil in your transmission only use dextron 3 transmission fluid that's what it's designed to use. It hold's about two quart's there is a fill level hole that tells you when it's full. When the fluid starts coming out the side hole then stop filling it then when it stop's coming out the level hole then your full.

Thank you Saturn tech 9 I thought it was an automatic type oil because it is red in color and very light weight.

Your welcome I recommend the castrol high mileage fluid that is what I use in my saturn and my families saturn's. If you need anymore info let me know.
