2003 Saturn L200 Air Conditioner - Blower

My 2003 Saturn L200 has experienced a series of unfortunate and expensive events. The new problem is Air Conditioning, over the past month when I turn on my AC I hear a brief squeal, but the AC works. As of yesterday afternoon, I was leaving work and turned on the AC and I was greeted with a continuous squeal and the AC did not work. I admit, I did drive for about 10 minutes with the squeal just to make sure it was the AC. I finally shut off the AC and left the blower on, noise discontinued. I had my husband check the fluid and the pressure on the AC, all good. I tested again the AC again this morning with the same squealing result, I shut off the AC left the blower on and turned the blower knob to feet, and I receive the same squeal. The blower usually stays on face or halfway between face and feet. What do I need to replace to discontinue the squeal and to have a working AC again?
