I was driving home today, and had made several stops. But the last time I stopped, when I started again, I didn't have any power steering and then the power steering light came on. I turned it off/on and the light still came on. I drove it the 3 blocks to home and turned it off. Later I went to pull it into the garage and it seemed to work fine.

(I just remembered, that I had a Power Steering light flash at me a while back, but it went out).

My first thought was to check the fluid, but now my question is, does the car have power steering fluid? There is NOTHING in the manual about it at all.

Any advice from anybody. I'm obviously worried about driving it.

You have a electric motor on your steering column so no fluid. What's probably failing is that motor pretty common for those car's. You would have to see what code's you have in your power steering control module.

Thanks for the info. Is the car safe to drive to have it checked out?

I would get it checked when the power steering goes out it make's it pretty hard to steer. When they start doing that they only get worse.
