I am having problems with my remote starter/passlock system. Sometimes when I go to start the vehicle it flashes a lock symbol and wont start. I have to keep trying usually taking up to 10 minutes sometimes. Is there a way to deactivate the anti theft somehow or something I coulld do so this does not continue?

U cant bypass it its part of the car. But the most likely cause to ur problem is the ignition switch it has a passlock in there and the greese they used in them hardens up in the cold and sometimes not so cold and causes the no start. There easy to change and there like 40 something I think. To diagnose it though u will have to have the body contro module scanned for codes and if u have a b2960 nad or a b3033 then need a new switch. Let me know what u find.
