It take's R134 if the system is completely empty it hold's 14.4oz's.

Hi, Thanks for the info..I needed to know which port the freon goes in. There is a port in the front and one by the passenger-side fender wall. The one in front is smaller than the one by the fender. I have tried adding freon to the front one and it takes it but the air does not get cold. Compressor does cycle. ???

I'm sorry i miss read the question you want to use the small port that's the low side.Do you have a gauge on your charging hose?If so what does the pressure go up too while your a/c is on?Also was the system empty when you started charging it up?How many oz's have you added so far to the system?
