Please advise
took my saab 900 turbo in for a range safety switch (which I bought as aftermarket - tested - guaranteed for 1 year) - dealer installed and said switch snapped selector cable and damaged it. They deterimed that range safety switch was bad. The aftermarket SAAB folks (who are huge) claim the tech damaged cable taking it out. They claim it happens frequently due to carelessness. Can someone give me some info. This dealer is whacking me hard on this install and takes no accountability. Thanks.

Hello .. thanks for the donation .. much appreciated

I would tend to agree with the aftermarket SAAB guy's and the tech damaged it during the repair ... I also do not think you will ever get the dealer to admit to this !! I'm afraid your in a catch22 situation !!

hope this helps a little !
