2003 SAAB 9-5 oil light

My oil light is on, there is a large explaination point (!) And it beeps. I checked the oil, it is full.

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge, if normal replace the oil pressure switch/sensor. If abnormal could mean oil pump and engine bearing.

U may have a blocked oil pickup screen, [sludge ] get engine internals checked, remove valve cover first [check for sludge build up inside engine ] if found remove oil pan & clean out sludge, I have found out that a good oven cleaner works great for breaking down sludge, good luck.
