Engine Mechanical problem
2002 Saab 9-5 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 135000 miles
The turbo was replaced on my 2002 Saab 9-5 in February 2008. It went again in April 2009. GM would not cover the repair because the 12 month warranty had expired. Estimate for repair is about $3000. Does anyone have suggestions for a less expensive way to repair - used parts, etc?
I can't afford $3k - and don't know that it's worth putting that much money in a car with 138k miles, so the car is just sitting in the driveway.
Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.

CHECK this place for price on a turbo ,goldwingsaab.com ,get phone # from site & give them a call ,also check e-bay ,find out which turbo u have on car ,if it is the high pressure turbo or is it the low pressure type ,or better yet which model saab u have ,liner ,arc or aero ,state it and i can tell u .
