Hello!
My 98 Jeep Gr Cherokee Ltd has a problem with reverse lights. The bulbs are ok. When I shift into reverse the lights do not come on. I had a mechanic look at it ( we live in Venezuela) and he suggested it was the "valvula de pare" - no idea what part that refers to in English. Any idea what part I should be looking for?
Thanks
Chantal

Thanks HMAC300, the fuses are fine.

I have been googling the "valvula de Pare" and it comes up as IAC (Idle air control) valve.

I will look at the neutral safety switch - is this the same part as the IAC sensor valve/solenoid? I attached a picture.
