Immobiliser stopping the start of the v
Engine Mechanical problem
1998 Renault Megane 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 108000 miles
My vehicle normally starts when I , after sitting on the driver's seat, twice press the remote button on the key which unlocks the immobiliser of the car, and car gets started. This time after I ran out of fuel, and refuelled the car on the road by a cannister using a noozle, the car did not start, and every time I move the key, the ignition comes with immobiliser light on the panel flashing.The engine does not start. Could anyone help please.

you can get an override 4 digit code from a renault dealer which you input using the interior central locking button ask a dealer for the code and override input sequence .. or just ask them to plug the car into their diagnostic computer to reset the immoboliser for you !!
