Removing steering wheel to replace clock spring?

Removing steering wheel to replace clock spring and have removed all torx screws 5 I do believe and the nut on the shaft everything is disconnected and out of the way. I have the removal set 2 matter of fact I'm using pieces from the bolts won't work too big for the torx holes threaded in the wheel, so I am using the feet and that is very minimal places to grab and keep the bar straight. Is there a locking ring on the shaft that I don't, see? It's not wanting to budge.

Hi,

I'm not sure I understand what you are indicating. Is it possible for you to take a few pictures and upload them for me to see?

As far as the removal of the clock spring (AKA Spiral Cable), I attached the directions below from my manual. Take a look through them and see if there is anything that is helpful.
