Okay, I went to change my spark plugs and on number one I see there's oil in the well. From my understanding I need to get a new valve cover gasket. What's the easiest way to remove the oil and are there a certain type of o-rings I need to replace the old ones? Thanks in advance for all your amazing help.

Good morning,

When you get the new valve cover gasket, ask for the one with the o-rings.

When you have the valve cover off, remove the spark plugs and you can use a shop rag to remove the oil from the tube. Some oil will go into the engine but it will burn off in a short time.

You need a socket with a ratchet with a long handle to break them loose. Once you get them free, use a magnet to lift them out.

Can I use my breaker to get it loose or is that too much?
