Rattle at ignition

So today my accelerator got stuck due to the floor mat, and I stopped the car (Pushing down break till it stopped and then turning off car.) I turned it back on and it accelerated, and right before I turned it off, it rattled for a split second.
So later in the day, I noticed that upon ignition, the engine rattles for just a second before it turns on. Has no issues turning on, and does not give that small rattle each time. I'm wondering what it could be.

Most likely you have damaged the motor internally from the over revving.

Did you get it fixed yet?

Not yet. But that's the thing. It's barely a rattle, like it cranks normal and rattles for a split second at the end and turns on. And many times it doesn't make that noise at all. Im pondering on taking it in, as I have yet to get the warranty. (I just bought the car the other day.)

I'll add that other than that, nothing else is an issue. No check engine lines, etc.

Does not have to red line to do damage

when you take it in, just tell tem that this noise appeared otherwise they will blame it on you and hold you liable
