Van has a leak but it is not coming from the radiator itself. It is coming from where the hose from the radiator and the hose coming from the engine meet together. It is losing so much water so quick, that it's over heating and the temperature gauge isn't reading it, I assume because there is no water in it for it to read. I need to know what is the name of the clamp or whatever it is, that holds those to hoses together. Please

Good morning,

Are you referring to the top or bottom hose?

Can you upload a picture to this post?

Is it leaking at the connection or is it leaking down onto the hose from the engine?

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/radiator-pressure-test

I would pressure test it to pin point the exact leak location.

I sent a article on how to do it. You need to rent a tester if you dont have one.

I would remove the hose from the connection and inspect the neck for anything wrong. It could be pitted or has holes in it.

It is going to have to come apart anyway since that is where the leak is located. It would also be best to get a new hose as well.

The hose just slides over a neck and a clamp secures it to the neck.
