So I changed my power steering cooler on my truck listed above 1500 LT, and I added fluid to it, I started it up and it started bubbling out of where the pressure hose bolts onto the back of the reservoir. How do I fix this? I changed the power steering cooler due to one of the lines having a crack from the cold. Am I supposed to turn the wheel over a bunch of times to let the air out? Or is it simply from a cracked hose? I just changed the pressure hose earlier this fall too, and its leaking again. I checked the O-rings on the end of the pressure hose and they were fine, with them being brand new. Thanks in advance.

Good afternoon,

I would change the hose. You have a defect there and it needs to be changed. I attached the procedure below for you.

I would also flush the system of all the old fluid.

Thank you, I kind of thought I needed a new one. Due to the extreme colds here in Alaska, I think it got cracked. But was thinking it couldn't have at the same time because it's brand new. I ordered it from napa. Com, but was told to order one from the GM parts website. What do you mean by bleeding out the system? Any videos of how I could do it? Thanks in advance.
