Brakes problem
1996 Pontiac Sunfire 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 163K miles

About 2 days ago after driving my car about 20 miles, when I tried to apply pressure to my brakes they went all the way to the floor, and I have limited brakes. They havn't seem to have gotten any worse over the past 3 days and I checked the brake fluid, and it's fine. What could this be? And is it possible they could go completely, because i've still been driving it.

First jack the car up and put on stands, check the front calipers for any fluid leakage as well as the rear wheel cylinders and hoses/hard lines.

Since your fluid level is good, it is more than likely a master cylinder is bad.

It is very dangerous to drive a car with brake problems. Don't drive it until the brakes are repaired.
