1999 Pontiac Montana 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a loud humming noise when I drive it and its not from the motor. Also whatever is causing it is making the traction control light come on and the anitlock brake light come on every once in a while when I hit a bump. I thought it was wheel bearings but someone told me that it has ball joints

I would suspect your wheel bearing. Your wheel bearing has a sensor for the ABS and traction control. Ball joint is located really close by, but has nothing to do with the humming.

This is your ball joint
