The 04 Grand prix that I own periodically stalls upon ignition and the kick of it is that it only happens when the engine is warm or hot. Never a problem in the cold. The dealership wants to do normal maintenance because they cannot find the problem nor has the engine light come on as of yet. Could this be a quick fix or deep in the engine? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Get a coolant flush and change the coolant temp sensor. It's running too rich and because of that you have to give it gas when it is warm. The reason you have to give it gas is because when the car is off, when you press the gas, it actualy leans out the fuel until it starts. You'll prolly get a code soon and it will read P0128. It's the temp sensor. The reason it's the coolant temp sensor is that it thinks it's running colder than what it really is, and compesates by giving it more fuel. Because of that, it wont start when it's hot/warm. Hope this helps.
