In December of 2007 my car was hit while parked, the rear end of my car was moved 2 ft. In the parking spot. Ever since I have had 3 cat. Converters put in the car. My check engine light is on again so I took it to find out if it was the same code I have had with the other three converters, It was. But my biggest question is Why is my car going through converter about every month to 2 months? What is the real problem and how do I fix it?

You sure the convertors are going out as in burning up? Not a faulty o2 sensor saying that the convertors are no good?

What will cause a convertor to burn up is too rich of a fuel mixture getting into the convertor and superheating it and burning it out, gas with lead in it will cause it to burn up, as will improper fuel additives.
And lastly ignition timing that is off will cause issues with the convertors due to fuel getting in the convertor and burning it out.
