1999 Pontiac Grand Prix 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

What parts need to be removed to allow water pump replacement, on a '99 Grand Prix, with a 3.8? Do any motor mounts have to be removed? At what mileage does GM recommend timing belt/chain replacement?

Believe it has a chain and chains are meant to last the life of motor so no maintenance intervals are given.
