I am having trouble with my wipers. Sometimes they work fine, sometimes they seem confused on where on the window they should be and move to far or jerkily, sometimes they just go straight up and stop when turned on, and sometimes they go straight up when turned off. The problem seems to get worse in cold weather. Does the sound like the switch on the steering column, or the wiper motor?

Hello. I seemed to have the same problem about a year or so ago on my 200 gp. It was raining and the wipers were fine then suddenly slowly started to die out and out of sync until they were up and stuck up. The wiper motor was still going but no blade movement I called my uncle who is fairly knowledgable, he said that at the base of the wipers there is a locking screw that keeps the wiper in place to react with the wiper motor. I checked to see if that was the case and it was. Theres a plastic cap over the screw. I turned the wipers off so the motor would be in neutral postion. I then put the wipers in their neutral postion and tightened the life out of the screws and since then its all been fine. Hopefully for you it is something simple as this.
