1998 Pontiac Grand Prix 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

My oil is way over ther mark and it smells like gasoline. What is the problem

Is it raw gas or does it smell like exhaust?

Is the oil diluted? Or seem like regular oil?

It smells like raw gas. And the oil seems diluted

If that was the case id check for worn piston rings by performing a wet and dry compression test. And I would also check for leaking injectors and bad fuel pressure regulator.
