What about your theft system? Did you try cranking in neutral? As far as the theft system, if there is a pellet in the key, you might wipe it off, try a different key. The purple wire at the starter solenoid should be hot with the key in the crank position. It is wired through the theft relay. This type theft system may also disable the injectors, if there is a problem with the theft system, even if you crank it, it still won't start.

Yes there is a pellet in the key. No the theft (security) light does not flash and the starter turns over with the key in the "on" position when I arch across the starter

Is the theft lite on? If the theft module is preventing the vehicle from starting, the theft lite should come on. Does it ever lite up? Check ecm B and ecm ign fuse for voltage, use a testlite. The B fuse circuit is hot all the time, the ign fuse circuit goes hot when you turn on the key. The theft deterrent relay should be under the right side dash, sorry I don't have a picture. Are there any codes?

How do find a code? There is no "theft" light but there is a "security" light that comes on and flashes when I try to start the car and when the key is in the on position
what/where is ecm B and ecm ign fuses at?
I found the fuse for the security light and it is ok it stopped flashing when I pulled the fuse out and started flashing again when I put it back in so that part seems ok
