What is the Hub bearing and why is it important to have it repaired?

The hub bearing (aka wheel bearing) is what supports both the radial load and the thrust load. The radial load comes from the weight of the car, the thrust load comes from the cornering forces when you go around a turn. If your bearings are bad and fail while driving, the wheel can fall inward or outward, resulting in an accident.
