The headlights have gone out completely on the car. Could you tell me what fuse I need to use for it and in what slot in the fuse area do I need to put it.

Thank you,
Rachel

It is a circuit breaker, not fuse.

My headlights stop working and my bright light switch is stuck on. The fuses are good. What could be the problem? The connector for the driver side head light melted so I replaced it still no head lights. If I pull the automatic light relay the fog lights come on.

It sounds like the multi-function switch on the steering column is bad. If the switch is stuck, I would start by replacing it. If needs done regardless, and it may fix the entire problem.

Let me know if you have questions.

You may have a bad headlight switch, which controls headlights, dimmer and turn signals.

Also check the high beam bulbs.

You need to be sure the battery has a full charge and the battery connections, coming and going are all clean and tight on both ends. Make sure the tranny is out of gear and the e-brake is set. With key in the start position, Check for voltage at the starter solenoid S terminal, purple wire. That circuit is wired through the clutch switch.

As far as the headlamp circuit breaker, it gets voltage from the fusible link. The fusible links appears to get voltage from starter solenoid battery terminal. Follow the circuit from solenoid battery terminal and check voltage. Of course the battery cable at solenoid has to have voltage. One way to check fusible link, check for voltage on both sides of link, if voltage on one side of fusible link and not the other, the fusible link is faulty.
Make sure battery has a full charge and battery connections are good.
