Pontiac Grand Am Repair Question

Gas Filter Location
Where is the Gas Filter Located on a 6 Cylinder 2000 Pontiac Grand Am SE. It has 105,000 miles on it. And has been slugish on accelerating and around corners. Goes away when engine gets warmer. :) :)

underneath the vehicle. follow the fuel lines till you see the filter. the fuel lines will be steel tubing running underneath the vehicle to the fuel tank.
