My power windows just stopped working. I was looking for a fuse for the windows, only found a circuit breaker (in fuse box on passenger side) no fuses. Do I need to replace the circuit breaker - is there a fuse?
Other question my signal lights work on and off - just all of a sudden will be dead and then work teh next time. Fuse? Where would this fuse be? Why would this happen - any suggestions?

There is no fuse for the window motors. They are on that curcuit breaker you talked about. I would remove the door panel and check for power and ground at the window motor with a test light while you operate the switch. If you have power and ground the motor is faulty. The window regulator will have to come out to replace the window motor and they are rivited in and can be a real pain in the butt. They also have a spring on them that will have to delt with because you could loose a finger if not careful.

As for the turnsignal deal ya got going on it could be a flasher or the turnsignal switch assembly. It ay be worth just puting a flasher in it becuse the turnsignal switch will probably be exspensive.

I have a 2000 pontiac grand am with 112,000 miles. It runs very good, been well kept, but today two problems occured. One. The driver's side power window stopped working. All other windows work fine.I checked fuses on dash and under hood, but no particular one referred to power windows. Two. The change engine oil light came on the previous oil change right after I changed the oil. I just changed the oil again, the light stays on. Does anyone have an answer for these two issues I'm having with this car?

After you change your oil, you need to reset the change oil light after changing the oil. The instructions are in the owner's manual. In the index, look up "engine oil life system". If you have the same manual as me, directions are on page 6-17. With your ignition key to ON (engine not running), push the RESET button located in the driver's side fuse block. The CHANGE OIL light will start to flash, press and hold the RESET button again. The reset is complete when you hear the chimes and the CHANGE OIL light goes out.

If you can hear the motor working it's agood possiblility that the cable that makes teh window go up and down is broken. It is replaced as an assembly motor and regulator

The door panel has to be takenoff. Being a mechanic it's not that hard to do. You have to unbolt teh window from the regulator and rebolt everything in. There are plastic clips on the door panel that may break but most of the time they don't and it can be done fairly easily.

The hardest part of the job is cleaning up all that broken glass and removing broken glass from the window channel.I would get the windows from the junk yard if I was you. There easy enough to change.

Is the window not working? Or is the switch not working? Or you select the switch and you can hear the motor turning but the window isn't moving?

I have attached a couple of things for you. The clips shouldn’t be that bad to change. I have attached a pic of them and the regulator. Also, a video on how to change. I would first take apart to see what you need as you can drive with the door panel off. That way you are sure of the problem. Also, I would purchase a couple of door panel Christmas trees as most of the time they brake when you are taking the door panel off. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RFJS6qBaQx8
