My heater core had to be replaced last year, since then I've had the thermostat replaced, hoses, and still my coolant is leaking out. I have narrowed it down to the drivers side of the car from behind the engine but it seems to be leaking from one location and running down there. What else is there to look for or replace?

Just a quick though, I have a 94 Grand Am, and I have noticed while working on it, and others like it, the head gaskets on these cars tend to fail. Check around the head gaskets on the motor and look for any type of condinsation, this is a pretty good indicator that the gasket is failing. Also when u change the oil, does it look cloudy or milky?

I have the same external leak. The head gasket looks good, all dry, but still leaking from same general location. I'm suspecting a freeze plug. I can't get a good eyeball on it yet due to the transmission, but have most of the motor apart.
