Hi there, I own a 1995 Pontiac Grand Am SE. I suddenly had a problem with the automatic door locks. They both worked that day and then all the sudden they stopped working. Neither door responds when you hit the button on the door and does not lock when put in to drive and does not unlock when the car is shut off. I was wondering what could cause this problem. I looked at the fuses and the one for the door locks is not blown. Any help is appreciated. Thank You.

First, even though the fuse looks good, it could be bad. Check it for continunity or replace it. If that doesn't help, I need you to remove the door panel on the driver's side to see if there is power to the switch.

Let me know what you find.

You need to check if there is 12 volts of power to the switch itself.

I actually saw that there were two fuses for the locks, one provides power to lock and the other to unlock, do both have to be changed in order to work?

Correct. The switch should receive 12 volts when the key is in the run position.
