Electrical problem
2007 Pontiac G6 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 200km miles

I bought a 2007 G6GTP 3 days ago and the salesman explained the remote starting as the manual is "in the mail". But when I got in the driver's seat after remote starting, I put the key in the ignition and turned it all the way to the "start" instead of stopping at the "engine on" position. Nothing happened, no loud noise like years ago, (bendix spring, hitting the flywheel noise). I did this 2 or 3 times on the weekend and everything SEEMS normal. Do you think I did any damage? This is a new feature they added to cars. It won't try and restart the car if it is already running. So I wouldn't worry about it. Just try to remember to only crank the key to the on position and don't crank it all the way to the start position.
