I just got my 98 Pontiac Firebird, and it runs great. Except, sometimes it wont start. It usually starts if its been sittin for about an hour+ but if you start it and turn it off, then start it again, it doesnt. On the times it doesnt start; the radio will turn on, the dash lights come on, and the security system will beep, the engine just wont turn over. It makes no noises at all.

Welcom, if you think it is the theft system, wipe off the pellet in the key, try a different key. Check for codes, around here some of the national brand autostores will check codes for free. My info shows a starter relay in the underhood fuse box, you can check for voltage and ground, when the problem occurs.
