Bonneville Water Intrusion
2001 Bonneville - when there is an extremely heavy rain, the carpeting in the passsenger footwell [u:79e8e88648]behind[/u:79e8e88648] the driver seat gets soaking wet. This has happened 2 times - both times the car was parked in the driveway. This is the only area of carpeting getting wet. Any ideas???[/u]

Get the hose out. Start by checking around the window and windshield. Next look down inside the firewall. Sometimes you will get water running down from the wipers into the engine bay and then into the passenger compartment.
