MY CARS ENGINE HAS BEEN IDILING REALLY HIGH I WAS LETTING IT RUN LAST NIGHT IN PARK AND IT JUMPED FORWARD AND HIT SOME STEPS REALLY HARD NOONE WAS NEAR THE CAR AND IT WAS IN PARK IS THIS A COMMON OCCURANCE AND DOES THE TIMING JUST NEED TO BE ADJSUTED OR IS THERE MORE OF AN ISSUE?

Clean the throttle body and shoot some wd40 on the throttle linkage, if it doesnt solve the problem then look for a vacuum leak sounds like a hissing noise or whistle. You can use some throttle body cleaner or some "Brake Kleen" and shoot it around all of the vacuum hoses, if hte idle changes, then that is your leak
