1999 Plymouth Voyager Serpentine belt

My mechanic replaced my serpentine belt and now my vehicle is overheating. He says its got nothing to do with the belt being replaced. My gut says something else. Thank you.

Check the belt route and if as it should
look for another reason for it to be overheating
thermostat low on coolant and so on
if do not have the belt diagram under hood u can check it at this link just select your @
