Hi there,

Pressure test the cooling system to locate any external coolant leaks, did you have the head crack tested and machined flat? Did you make sure that all old head gasket was removed from the block?

I did not have the head tested or machined. I am sure I got all the old gasket cleaned out.

Hi there, you should always get the head tested and re machined as they always twist and warp, you may also have a crack in the head, you can never presume that it is ok, just re flush the coo ant and re fill maybe its just old oil still in the system, but I feel that your head is still the problem.
