Greetings and first let me say thanks for having a site like this on-line!

Yesterday my wife drove our van to a friends house to bring her on an errand. Upon leaving friends house the van just "died"

When I attempted to start the car it would : "rum rum click click"

I have tried jumpstarting it-nothing happend
I changed the dist.cap and rotor-nothing happend

I live in Syracuse, Ny were it has been cold lately. I don't know what else to say to help you answer my question but ask me and I will answer.

Thanks again.

ok well first things first, when you now try to start it there's nothing, no noise nothing.like an umpires signaling safe...nothing. Did you get your battery and alt. check? If so, and they are good, then replace your ignition coil.

Thanks for the reply. There is nothing, no noise. I didn't even think of the ignition coil.

Thanks again
