Ignition key will not turn. I have turned the steering wheel, rocked the car, and spent 20 minutes placing the key in and out. Happen once before but after a couple of tries it worked. Also, I am not parked on an incline. How difficult is this to repair or replace.

First, if you have another key, try it. If that doesn't work, try to lubericate the tumbler. They make a special lubericant for key tumblers. You can try something like WD40, but don't spray too much of it.

Let me know if it helps.

Also, if you need to replace the tumbler and key, it may need reprogramed if it has a factory security system. Only a dealer will be able to do it. If no security, you need to remove the steering wheel, and part of the steering column.
