Could you tell me where the fuel filter is located on the Ply Acclaim? Any suggestions or warnings on replacement?

Hello, my info shows the filter to be located under the vehicle by the tank. I can't remember if those are hose clamps for the fuel lines? Loosen the gas cap, also make sure there is no pressure on the fuel line. Sometimes, I still plug the fuel lines to keep gas from running out, till the new filter is in.

Thank you JDL- The car, which I loaned to my son in law, has been quitting him, acting like a plugged fuel filter. I'll replace it first before procceeding with other diagnosis, unless you have a better course of action to suggest.

A fuel filter is part of regular maintenance, if it hasn't been replaced in a while, it can't hurt. Can you put a pressure gage on it and check fuel pressure? Are there any troublecodes? You can get some codes, if there are any, by cycling the ignition switch. On--off, on---off, on, then the check engine lite starts flashing, you count the flashes to get the codes.
