Hi,

The Honda City isn't offered in the US, but I will try my best to help.

The code indicates the TCC (torque converter clutch) switch isn't responding correctly or the TCC is no longer engaged when it should be.

When this happens, it usually affects the transmission line pressure causing rough shifts or the transmission will enter what is called limp mode and stay in one gear. Are you experiencing either of the symptoms?

Here is my concern. Since the switch isn't responding properly, it will usually affect line pressure as aforementioned. This can cause internal damage over time to the transmission.

I'm not sure what has already been done by your mechanic, but he/she should be able to actuate the switch via his scan tool to see if it is the switch that is bad. If it isn't the switch, there is a good chance the internal wiring to it is the cause and will need to be replaced.

I hope this helps you. Let me know if you have other questions or need help.

Take care,

Joe

Hi,

I don't have the specifics because the model isn't offered here. However, it is likely in the valve body of the transmission and the wiring internal.

Let me know how you make out.

Take care,

Joe

Hi,

That is where I run into trouble. I have no specifics on this vehicle because it's not offered in the US. Thus, it isn't listed in my manuals.

I wish I had it for you. Let me know if your mechanic gets it taken care of.

Take care,

Joe

I understand. I wish I could do more for you, but I just don't have the specifics. I can only tell you what I know about different models. I had to confirm the diagnostic trouble code online because of the model.

I'm really sorry I couldn't do more. If there is anything you feel I could help with, please let me know.

Take care,

Joe
