While sitting at the BK drive through the car started running hot so I turned it off for the wait to let it cool down a bit. When I went to crank it back up it wouldnt do anything, all idiot lights were on like they normaly are when your turning the key but not so much as a click from the engine. I turned the key off and released the brake made sure it was in park firmly and tried again and it started, BUT as soon as I took my hand off the key it made that horrible over cranking noise as if it were already running and I tried to crank again ( it wasnt already running as above mentioned) then it drove home just fine. The airbag light stayed on which I have never noticed lit up before. When I got home I turned it off let it have a five minute rest and tried to crank it again just to see if it would do that again where I could hear it better. It did nothing, only the lights lit up but no noises no nothing. I replayed what I had done to get it to start before and it wouldnt work. Any ideas as to what the problem could be since I have less than 48 hours to have it running again.

I would try moving the battery cables, well I mean grab one and try and turn it 1/4 to half turn on each and see hwat happens, start simple, may just be the connections are corroded, as far as overheating we will work on that once it is running again
