Hi, New to your site, hope you can help us. Fuel pump is not getting any power to it. I changed the fuse and the relay, but to no avail. Checked the fuel pump and it runs from the battery charger. Seems lilke the power does not go through. I have a 1998 Oldsmobile Silhoutte van v-6 3.4 SFI with 182,000 mi. Could it be the pcm? Can you help? Thanks, ED

Is there continuity for the wires going from the front of the car to the fuel pump? Basically, is there a possibility a wire is broken INSIDE the plastic coating? Use a continuity tester to determine.

Up under the driver's side sliding door there is what the dealer call a passthru plug the fuelpump wires passthru it to go to the relay and fuel gauge. Sometimes g.M. 'S all weather plugs are not all weather. They get water in it and it looses coonectivity trace the wires coming from the tank and follow them to the plug. Open the plug if it is green inside it your problem. I had to put one on my '99 silo the plug is around $55.00 from dealer. Also sometimes the fuelpump when they go out will run but will not be pumping anything. I gave $ 320.00 for a new pump not long ago.
