I have a 96 Olds achieva sc 2.4L 4 cylinder with approx. 150000 miles. There are many things wrong with this car for me, I guess its just my luck, but the only three things I really have a problem with are the security system making me wait 10 minutes to start the car every time I get in it, for some reason my gas guage likes to move to empty and back to full randomly, and my brights indicator light flashes constantly. Im not sure at all why the light is flashing and it is just really annoying so if anybody can help me it would be much appreciated.

Turn the high beams on, have a look, are they on? It may be a burned bulb indicator!

Yes the brights come on, but if the light isnt blinking the left one pops on and right back off but as soon as it starts blinking they both stay on just fine.

Ok thanks ill check that. Ive also been told that it could be my instrument cluster because of the security light and the gas guage. Do you think thaty could have anything to do with the light blinking?
