My 1993 Olds LSS has a drain on the battery when left for more then a week, and causes no start condition.
Sometimes I hear what sounds like an electric pump when the key is off, maybe this iscause of the battery drain?

Does your car have ABS? Could be the ABS motor running, try removing the fuse and see if you still hear the noise. Otherwise finding the draw can be a task, get back to me

Thank you, and I'll check that.
I also just read a forum on an Oldsmobile with a battery drain and that one concerned a pump that operates the rear shocks for level stabilizer, with the key off. Good grief, what's with cars that continue to operate battery drains with the key off?

These new cars have so much on-board equipment there is always a slight draw on the battery. Sometimes relays stick and the such, causing excessive draws. Check to see if yours is the level-ride motor as well, I was taking a stab in the dark
