Heater problem
2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 186000 miles

Hi.I recently had my car taken to a shop to have the heater fixed,it only worked on high and was/is terribly noisy. when i have the setting to circulate in the car rather than from motor to in the car it wont stay hot.the shop said they fixed the heater core and resistor.i just want to know why it wont stay hot and would it be the blower motor or fan making the noise?

Take it back they didn't do a good job-noise could be coming from the blower housing the fan rubbing against it due to misalignment

Only high speed -check the blower motor resistor-still no heat could be air mix/blend/mode door problems, vacuum and actuator, to include the HVAC control module.
