1982 Oldsmobile Cutlass V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have replaced the fuel pump and checked to see ifI have a relay switch in the car and I don't. What other things do I need to look for in order to get my pump working. I don't know if this is any help but I just put an edelbrock carb on it also.

Yes, a few years ago I replaced the fuel pump that was orig. Located under the hood to the location now by the fuel tank and yes it is electrical.

Check for power at the fuel pump and inspect the ground. Or rewire the pump
